The historic 19th century Valley Green Inn provides a charming backdrop for this family recreation area. It's also a convenient starting point for horseback riders, bikers, runners and walkers who take advantage of the many hiking trails through the Wissahickon Gorge or the vehicle-restricted "Forbidden Drive" along the creek.
