Wyck

Dating back to the 1690s, Wyck has served as home to nine generations of the Quaker Wistar and Haines family. Today this wonderful colonial house, with its noteworthy 1824 alterations and historic interiors and gardens, provides a detailed glimpse into a past way of life. Featuring original family furnishings and possessions accumulated over 300 years plus significant example of 18th and 19th century furniture, ceramics, and needlework, this glorious house brings alive the tastes and comforts of an earlier time. The distinctive grounds include early outbuildings that were part of Wyck's farm, and feature a nationally known garden of old roses growing in their original plan from the 1820s.
